    Prediction

Both teams have failed to live up to expectations so far this season — Kentucky much more so than Kansas — but this is their last chance to put a big non-conference win on their resumes, so expect a wild one in Lawrence, Kan. Kentucky will put up a strong fight, but coming off its loss to Iowa State on Monday, Kansas is going to take care of business at home, where it’s won 36 straight.

    Game Notes

    • Jamal Murray has made at least one 3-point shot in every game this season, the first player in Kentucky history to make a triple in each of his first 20 collegiate games.
    • The Jayhawks are 8-1 this season and 196-8 during the Bill Self era (since 2003-04) when shooting 50 percent or better from the field.
    • If the Wildcats can get into a defensive slugfest, they’ll have the edge. UK is 61-0 under Coach John Calipari when keeping the opponent to 55 or fewer points.
