Everything you need to know about the Kansas vs. UCLA online live stream and TV broadcast, as well as preview, prediction and game notes.

As part of the Maui Invitational in Maui, Hawaii, the Kansas Jayhawks (2-1) will take on the UCLA Bruins (3-1) in the Lahaina Civic Center.

The Jayhawks weren’t exactly a high-scoring offense when they lost to Michigan State, 79-73, last week, but it was a completely different story against Chaminade on Monday in a 123-72 win for Kansas. KU will be led by Perry Ellis and Wayne Selden, who are combining for 31 points per game.

The Bruins have won their last three games after dropping the season-opener to Monmouth. UCLA beat Cal Poly, Pepperdine and UNLV by an average margin-of-victory of 7 points. Bryce Alford has been a huge reason for the Bruins’ success with 19.8 points and 5 assists per game.

Below is everything you need to know about the game, including the Kansas vs. UCLA online live stream, TV broadcast information, game notes and prediction.

Prediction

This one really could swing either way. The Jayhawks allow 74.3 points per game while the Bruins allow 77.3 points per game, but Kansas (101.7) averages 19.9 more points per game than UCLA (81.8). This one is going to come down to what Alford can do shooting the rock. He’s going to hit a few threes and lead UCLA in scoring while Thomas Welsh and Tony Parker contriubte on the boards. It should be a back-and-forth matchup. Ellis and Selden won’t be able to score enough for Kansas on a Bruins defense that has held opponents to 40 percent shooting.

Robert Judin:  UCLA 84, Kansas 78
Jordan Cornette: Kansas 82, UCLA 76

Game Notes

  • Tony Parker had three straight double-doubles to start the season, but he was held in check (and in foul trouble) against UNLV with two points and three rebounds.
  • The Jayhawks had 32 assists, shot 64.4 percent and made 15 of 29 from 3-point range against Chaminade.
  • UCLA is 8-5 when Alford scores 20 points or more.
