Kentucky wins if …
Malik Monk has taken his game to another level in the second half of the season, and is the type of player that is capable of leading a team to a national title by himself. Add in Fox, Isaiah Briscoe, and Adebayo, and the Wildcats have a team full of stars that will challenge for the ultimate prize.
Wichita State wins if …
The Shockers are not your ordinary 10-seed, and that will show against a Kentucky team that is young and does not have as much tournament experience as Wichita State. The Shockers will have to be able to keep up with the deep talent of the Wildcats, and if they catch Kentucky on a off night, there is no better coach to take advantage than Gregg Marshall.
Kentucky vs. Wichita State Prediction
Kentucky is vulnerable, as all young teams are and shown in the close game against Northern Kentucky, but behind Monk and Fox, along with the majority of the crowd dressed in blue behind them, the Wildcats will put it out and make the Sweet 16.
