    Lehigh comes into this game at 8-2. The Mountain Hawks have won eight games in a row over the likes of Penn, Princeton, Yale, Colgate, Georgetown, Holy Cross, Fordham and Bucknell.

    As for Lafayette, it enters this game at 2-8. The Leopards snapped a seven-game losing streak with a 17-3 win over Georgetown, but couldn’t make it two in a row, as they fell to Colgate, 38-17, the last time out.

    • Andy Coen is in his 11th season as the head coach of the Lehigh football program. He holds a career record of 76-48 and now ranks second in school history in career victories.
    • Senior linebacker Pierce Ripanti enjoyed the best game of his senior season in the victory over Bucknell. Ripanti totaled 10 tackles, good for second on the Mountain Hawks and added two tackles for loss.
    • While Lehigh’s offense has ranked among the nation’s best all season, the Mountain Hawks had to rely on their defense to secure their 11th Patriot League championship with the victory over Bucknell. Lehigh’s 357 yards of offense were its lowest since the season-opener against Monmouth but the defense limited Bucknell to 382 yards, including just 133 in the second half.

    Lafayette Game Notes

    • Joe Maddon (class of ’76), the manager of the World Series champion Chicago Cubs, will be in attendance at Saturday’s game. Maddon is expected to take part in a variety of events during the weekend beginning with the Maroon Club Hall of Fame induction dinner on Friday night and continuing into Saturday.
    • With four catches vs. Georgetown, junior WR Matt Mrazek continued his ascent up Lafayette’s top 10 list for career receptions. Mrazek has 134 career grabs, ranking ninth all-time and needing two more catches to slide up to eighth. Mrazek needs 106 receiving yards to crack Lafayette’s all-time top 10.
    • Drew Reed ranks third in career completions at Lafayette (611) and his 202 passing yards at Colgate pushed him into third place with 6,748 passing yards (passing Tom Kirchhoff ’93 with 6,721). He is also the school record holder for single-season completion percentage (72.5% in 2013) and is second in career completion percentage (65.1%).
