Why is this not called the Underachievers Bowl? Both teams entered the season with high expectations and both turned out to be average, with Georgia going 7-5 and TCU 6-6. I like Jacob Eason and have been a Nick Chubb fan for years despite his injury history. I really don’t like anything about TCU and think Gary Patterson is a bit overrated. I’ll take the Bulldogs in a high-scoring affair.

Give me Georgia. Jacob Eason has a field day passing on a secondary that really struggled through the better part of the year. Chubb and Michel will have solid games, making the national media swoon over UGA’s potential come 2017. Fire up the hype train for the Dawgs as SEC East favorites next season.

I’ve seen Kenny Hill make some pretty incredible plays in his college career, but this game is about the future. I don’t think this season has gone perfectly for Kirby Smart, but he has a young, talented quarterback Jacob Eason. And Eason is going to be the x-factor in this game. He’ll hook up with Isaiah McKenzie for a couple of touchdowns, and Chubb will help do the rest on the ground to reach the 1,000-yard rushing mark on the season. UGA wins a shootout.

Georgia is going to be extremely good next season, but that is next season. Kenny Hill will lead the Horned Frogs to a win, and Gary Patterson will still remain the most underrated coach in college football. Meanwhile, TCU athletic director Chris Del Conte will spend three hours before the game trying to pick the perfect tie for the occasion out of his expansive tie collection. Seriously, you should see his closet.
