Why Middle Tennessee Will Win

The Blue Raiders should be able to move the ball on a Louisiana Tech defense that’s disappointed this fall, especially against the pass. Middle Tennessee norms more than 37 points per game, and rookie backs Desmond Anderson and Kamani Thomas came through in a big way last Saturday to complement Brent Stockstill’s passing.

Why Louisiana Tech Will Win

Middle Tennessee could struggle to run the ball on a Bulldog D that’s stout up front and allowing only 3.3 yards per carry. On offense, La Tech will match—and exceed—the Blue Raiders’ balance with QB Jeff Driskel and RB Kenneth Dixon, provided an ankle injury doesn’t keep him out of a third straight game.

What’s Going To Happen?

Little separates Louisiana Tech and Middle Tennessee, teams looking to improve their postseason chances. The difference will be the venue. In Ruston, the Bulldogs are 3-0, winning each by double-digits, while the Blue Raiders have yet to win outside Murfreesboro in 2015.
