For the second time in less than two years, 4-star prospect Lowell Narcisse is out with a torn ACL.

In May of 2015, when he was committed to Auburn, Narcisse tore his right ACL during the Saint James High School spring game and made a full recovery. But on Thursday night, this time as an LSU commit, the Saint James, Louisiana native tore his left ACL and confirmed the news on Twitter the next day.

“I know this is probably what everybody didn’t expect. My MRI just came back, and yes, I tore my other ACL. Thanks for all your prayers and call[s]. Go Wildcats.”

It was originally believed that Narcisse would be okay, but the MRI revealed the severity of the injury.

Narcisse, the nation’s No. 13 quarterback and No. 183 overall player, pledged to Les Miles’ Tigers on May 2 after decommitting from Auburn on Jan. 12.

He’s not the only passer LSU has in its class, though. Three-star prospect Myles Brennan, the No. 27 quarterback in the 2017 class, committed to Tigers on April 23. They currently rank No. 4 in the 2017 class rankings with 20 total commits.

Before he suffered the injury, Narcisse completed 11-of-17 passes for 113 yards with two touchdowns and an interception.

At 6-foot-2, 224 lbs he flashes a ton of arm strength with an ability to improvise and create with his legs. Intangibly, the 4-star quarterback has everything you want in a leader. His mobility will be in question now, but he was able to come back from a torn ACL once already.
