Louisiana prospect Lowell Narcisse is reportedly going to be fine after a hit sidelined him during a game.

There was a scary moment for 2017 four-star quarterback and LSU commit Lowell Narcisse (Saint James, Louisiana) on Thursday night. Narcisse appeared to sustain a knee injury during St. James High School’s game.

“Lowell Narcisse goes down after that last hit,” reported Sam Spiegelman of SEC Country. “Being helped off the field. Looks to be a left knee injury.”

Luckily, though, the injury doesn’t appear to be as severe as first thought.

“Trainers say that @JrJr238 is OK,” Spiegelman followed later. “He says he feels fine, but will check the knee out in the morning. Good news out of Donaldsonville.”

Narcisse is a big-time prospect who committed to LSU in early May of 2016. He’s ranked as the nation’s No. 183 overall prospect and No. 13 quarterback.

One of 20 players currently committed to LSU, Narcisse is also one of 14 four-star prospects. The Tigers’ class is currently ranked No. 4 in the nation.
