Here are the details of Maryland Eastern Shore Coach Jason Crafton's contract with the university.
Maryland Eastern Shore Coach Jason Crafton signed a five-year contract with the university in May that will end on March 31, 2024, according to a copy of the contract obtained by Stadium via public records request.
Crafton will earn a base salary of $156,000 and he will be entitled to a cost of living adjustment beginning July 1, 2020 and he’ll be eligible for annual merit pay, if such pay is budgeted for and available to the university’s regular exempt staff.
He can earn additional performance-based incentives, which are outline below:
If Maryland Eastern Shore terminates Crafton’s contract without cause, it can assign him other responsibilities which constitute substantial services performed on behalf of the university over the remainder of the term or it can terminate his employment, paying Crafton a lump sum equal to the current value of his annual base salary for the remainder of the contract term.
