The Blue Raiders exploded out of their off week to snap Marshall’s seven-game winning streak on Saturday. Middle Tennessee put it all together behind the passing of Brent Stockstill and the running of Desmond Anderson. And that kind of balance will be too much for a sputtering FAU offense that’s scored more than 20 just twice in the last eight games.

Why Florida Atlantic Will Win

Can Middle Tennessee finally break through and win outside of Murfreesboro? It’s 0-4 on the road, though all four opponents might be bowl-bound. The Owls are disruptive on D, leading Conference USA in sacks behind the push of linemen Trey Hendrickson and Trevon Coley.

What’s Going To Happen?

Florida Atlantic was eliminated from postseason contention last week, while Middle Tennessee located new life. The contrasting mindsets will be evident on Saturday, with the Blue Raiders riding Stockstill’s arm to their first road win of 2015.
