NBA Best Bets: Tuesday, March 21

It’s been choppy the last few weeks with my NBA picks. But you know what? That changes tonight.

We’ve got a favorable spread and some player props that will lead us to a profitable night!

Two-Pointers

Cavs -3 @ Nets (-110): I try to stay away from spreads but I also have no self-control, so let’s do a spread bet! The Cavs have the second-best net rating in the league over the last ten games, covering in six during that stretch while playing the BEST defense in the NBA with a 108 defensive rating. They match up well with this ragtag Nets team, so let’s put some money on them to cover.

Three-Pointers

Jalen Williams Over 14.5 Points (-110): Coming off a game where he only scored five points on 1-6 shooting, I love this spot for Williams as he’s hit over this number in nine of his last 10 games. He’s getting his minutes with 32+ a game which leads to plenty of shot volume. He’s been too good during this stretch to start a bad shooting slump. The 21-year-old shows up in LA tonight.

Half-Court Shot

Al Horford Over 3.5 Assists (+128): Good ole Al has been an assist machine recently, averaging 5.2 in his last five games. Against the Kings, who are playing on a back-to-back, he faces a defense that’s giving up the seventh-most assists to centers. Plus, Sacramento has the second-worst defensive rating over their last ten home games, meaning the scoring opportunities will be plentiful for the C’s tonight. At plus-money, let’s sprinkle a bit on a number with good value.
