The ship is righting, the waters are calming, and we’re getting back on track. However many cliches you want to use, just know we had our first positive card since Week One.

Let’s make it two in a row.

    Two-Pointers

Bucks -6 vs. Knicks (-110): This just seems like a low line for the Bucks facing a team on a back-to-back. The Knicks have also been abysmal at home ATS, with a 2-6-1 record. Plus, New York is coming off a HUGE win over the Pistons that saw them score 140 points. I don’t think they’re talented enough to be consistently that good on offense. As long as the Bucks have Giannis healthy, they should be able to steamroll over a tired Knicks team at the Garden.

Grizzlies 1Q Team Total Over 28.5 (-115): One of my favorite bets from last season continues to provide for the masses. The official team of this very article’s editor, Wil Herrmuth, is 15-5 ATS in the first quarter because they LOVE to score right out of the gate. They average 30.6 points a game in the first quarter (sixth-best in the league). This would be a heavier play if the Grizz were at home, where they average 33 points per first quarter, but this number is still solid for them on the road. Minnesota also gives up the 10th-most first-quarter points a game in the league. The matchup and situation are right for this bet.

    Three-Pointers

Celtics 1H -5 vs. Heat (-110), and Celtics 1H Team Total Over 59.5 (-122): The Celtics have been an absolute beast of a team in the first half of games this year. They hold the third-best ATS record at 13-8 and score the MOST first-half points per game at a whopping 63.7 points. At home, it’s a crazy 66.7! And to put on my best Billy Mays impression, “But WAIT, there’s more!” Over the last three contests, Boston is averaging an insane 71 first-half points a game.

The Heat? Well, they’re slightly below average in the first half this year, with a 9-11-1 first-half ATS record, and they average 56 first-half points a game, good for 20th in the league. The Celtics have been hot, hot, hot, so let’s get on the ride while we can. While I wouldn’t necessarily recommend parlaying these, you’re more than welcome to — I can’t tell you what to do.
