    1. After not getting on the board in the first, it was an easy scrimmage for NC State with Jacoby Brissett finding Benson Browne for a five-yard score and Jaylen Samuel running for a 12-yard touchdown for a 14-0 lead. The Pack cruised from there.

    2. Matthew Dayes took over with three touchdown runs from 25, one and three yards out.

    3. EKU came up with just seven first downs. The running game had nowhere to move, gaining 35 yards on 23 attempts.

    – Matthew Dayes ran 24 times for 116 yards and three scores

    – The Wolfpack outgained the Colonels 443 yards to 112. EKU had the ball for fewer than 20 minutes.
