Nov. 15 at FIU 38, Middle Tennessee 28 

And You Care Because … FIU scored 21 third quarter points to take the lead for good with Jonnu Smith catching hit third touchdown pass of the game and Davison Colimon returning an interception 79 yards for a touchdown. Anthon Samuel scored on a two-yard touchdown run late in the third, and the defense did the rest with takeaways and stops in the fourth. Middle Tennessee got up 21-3 on three Austin Grammer touchdown passes, but Smith came up with touchdown catches from ten and 40 yards out at the end of the first half, with the second coming on the last play of the quarter. The Blue Raiders pulled back in it on a Jeremiah Bryson ten-yard run in the third, but Samuel’s run to cap off an 85-yard drive was enough. 
What Else? FIU TE Jonnu Smith caught eight passes for 140 yards and three scores 
– Middle Tennessee QB Austin Grammer completed 21-of-33 passes for 286 yards and three touchdowns with three picks, and ran ten times for 19 yards 
– FIU RB Anthon Samuel ran 19 times for 120 yards and a score

Nov. 13 at UTSA 12, Southern Miss 10 
And You Care Because … UTSA got four Sean Ianno field goals, taking a 9-0 lead going into the fourth quarter on kicks from 41, 28 and 35 yards out, but it was his 38-yard field goal with two seconds to play to give the Roadrunners the win. Southern Miss rallied back in the fourth on a 36-yard Corey Acosta field goal and a 22-yard Markese Triplett touchdown catch, but UTSA was able to mount a final comeback going 60 yards in ten plays leading to Ianno’s kick. 
What Else? UTSA RB David Glasco II ran 16 times for 108 yards
– Southern Miss QB Nick Mullens completed 21-of-34 passes for 257 yards and a touchdown with a pick

Nov. 15 at Western Kentucky 52, Army 24 
And You Care Because … WKU’s offense was unstoppable as Brandon Doughty ran for a 15-yard touchdown and threw three touchdown passes – finding Willie McNeal for a 45-yard score with no time remaining in the first half, and a six-yarder to Jared Dangerfield in the third, but it was Leon Allen’s game, adding scoring runs from 12 and 80 yards out for the Hilltoppers to stay ahead. Army scored first on a one-yard Angel Santiago touchdown run, and Larry Dixon added a 58-yard scoring dash, but WKU was comfortably ahead after going on a 31-3 run. 
What Else? WKU RB Leon Allen ran 33 times for 345 yards and three touchdowns

– Army RB Larry Dixon running 15 times for 131 yards and a score 
– WKU QB Brandon Doughty completed 16-of-25 passes for 178 yards and three touchdowns, and he ran for a score

Nov. 15 at UTEP 35, North Texas 17 
And You Care Because … UTEP came up with a 28-0 halftime lead on three Nathan Jeffery touchdown runs and a 42-yard Aaron Jones dash. North Texas fought back on two touchdowns from Jeffrey Wilson, but a 54-yard Jones scoring dash kept the Miners easily ahead. 
What Else? UTEP RB Aaron Jones ran 16 times for 177 yards and two scores, and he caught three passes for 15 yards 
– North Texas QB Andrew McNulty completed 16-of-28 passes for 107 yards and a touchdown with a pick, and ran 12 times for a team-high 67 yards 
– UTEP QB Jameill Showers completed 8-of-11 passes for 87 yards, and ran four times for 33 yards 
– Total yards: UTEP 438 – North Texas 207

Nov. 15 at Marshall 41, Rice 14 
And You Care Because … Marshall kept on rolling scoring the first 17 points of the game on two Rakeem Cato touchdown passes including a 25-yarder to Hyleck Foster. Rice got on the board with a three-yard Jowan Davis touchdown run, but Marshall answered back with 24 straight points on two more Cato touchdown passes and a two-yard Devon Johnson run. 
What Else? Marshall RB Devon Johnson ran 27 times for 199 yards and a score 
– Rice QB Driphus Jackson completed 11-of-23 passes for 99 yards 
– Marshall QB Rakeem Cato completed 23-of-37 passes for 297 yards and four touchdowns with a pick, and ran five times for 12 yards
