Alabama Coach Nate Oats to Sign Five-Year Contract: Salary, Incentives, Buyout

Former Buffalo Coach Nate Oats made the jump to the SEC after the Bulls were eliminated in the 2019 NCAA Tournament as he’ll replace Avery Johnson at Alabama.

Oats signed a memorandum of understanding with Alabama on March 27 for a five-year contract that will end on March 14, 2024. Stadium obtained the memo of understanding via public records request that outlines a base salary of $275,000/year, a talent fee of $2,175,000/year and an expense account of $12,000/year.
