Nov. 8 at Army 35, Connecticut 21 
And You Care Because … Connecticut was driving for a possible game-tying touchdown in the final seconds, but Chandler Whitmer’s pass was picked off by Chris Carnegie for a 99-yard touchdown to seal the win. Army to two touchdown runs from both Angel Santiago and Joe Walker, and the defense held on as Whitmer ran for a touchdown in the second and threw two touchdown passes in the fourth. 
What Else? Rushing yards: Army 327 – Connecticut 163 
– Connecticut QB Chandler Whitmer completed 19-of-31 passes for 170 yards and two touchdowns with two interceptions, and ran seven times for a team-leading 62 yards and a score 
– Army QB Angel Santiago completed 2-of-3 passes for 38 yards, and ran 25 times for a team-leading 97 yards and two touchdowns 
– Time of possession: Army 34:15 – Connecticut 25:45

Nov. 8 Memphis 16, at Temple 13 
And You Care Because … Jake Elliott hit a 31-yard field goal as time expired to give Memphis the tough win. Elliott also connected from 42 and 27 yards out, and Brandon Hayes caught a 17-yard touchdown pass to overcome an early 10-0 deficit. Temple managed two Austin Jones field goals from 43 and 46 yards out, and Kenneth Harper ran for a 75-yard touchdown, but the offense only managed the second Jones field goal after the first quarter. 
What Else? Memphis QB Paxton Lynch completed 21-of-28 passes for 230 yards and a score 
– Temple RB Kenneth Harper ran 17 times for 116 yards and a score 
– Memphis WR Mose Frazier caught eight passes for 110 yards
– Temple QB P.J. Walker completed 16-of-37 passes for 140 yards and an interception

Nov. 8 at Tulsa 38, SMU 28 
And You Care Because … Dane Evans threw five touchdown passes including two to Keevan Lucas in the second quarter and two to Keyarris Garrett on the way to a 35-13 third quarter lead. SMU turned it over three times, but the offense got off to a hot start as Der’rikk Thompson started out the scoring with a 64-yard touchdown on the team’s first offensive play. Matt Davis ran for two fourth quarter touchdowns to pull the Mustangs within seven late, but Tulsa put it away with a 24-yard field goal with just over a minute to play. 
What Else? Tulsa QB Dane Evans completed 16-of-24 passes for 286 yards and five touchdowns 
– SMU QB Matt Davis completed 21-of-32 passes for 212 yards and a score with two interceptions, and ran 28 times for 181 yards and two scores 
– Tulsa WR Keyarris Garrett caught four passes for 96 yards and two touchdowns, and Keevan Lucas caught four passes for 88 yards and two scores 
– Total yards: Tulsa 501 – SMU 464

Nov. 8 Tulane 31, at Houston 24 
And You Care Because … Tulane scored 17 straight points in the second half with Leondre James catching a nine-yard touchdown pass and Dontrell Hilliard running for a one-yard score for a 14-point lead. Houston got a nine-yard Deontay Greenberry touchdown catch with just over a minute to play, but that was it for the Cougar rally. Tanner Lee threw three touchdown passes for the Green Wave including a 12-yarder to Teddy Veal in the first and a 63-yard play to Hilliard in the second. 
What Else? Turnovers: Houston 4 – Tulane 2 
– Tulane RB Dontrell Hilliard ran 25 times for 85 yards and a touchdown, and caught 
– Tulane QB Tanner Lee completed 24-of-35 passes for 237 yards and three touchdowns with an interception 
– Houston QB Greg Ward Jr. completed 31-of-45 passes for 342 yards and two touchdowns with three picks, and ran 18 times for a team-high 59 yards
