AP Top 25 College Football Rankings – Week 11

AP Top 25 college football rankings heading into Week 11 of the 2016 season. There’s a new-look top 10 after Nebraska and Florida fell out following losses.

The top of the poll looks familiar in this week AP Top 25, as Alabama solidified its spot by shutting out LSU, 10-0, on Saturday in Baton Rouge in an SEC showdown. Michigan, Clemson and Louisville followed again to round out the top five after completing blowouts over inferior conference opponents.

Not many were surprised that Ohio State beat Nebraska, but the way the Buckeyes manhandled Nebraska certainly raised some eyebrows. Ohio State’s 62-3 victory helped it stay firm at No. 6 in the poll, but the Cornhuskers fell out of the top 10 to No. 21.

The SEC also lost a top 10 team as Florida’s loss at Arkansas caused the Gators to slip from No. 10 all the way down to No. 22. Texas A&M was upset at Mississippi State, but the Aggies held on to a top 10 spot, falling from No. 7 to No. 10

Western Michigan rolled to 9-0 with Tuesday’s win over Ball State and remains the Group of Five’s highest-ranked squad, moving up three spots to No. 14.

While there was plenty of shifting in the rankings – including Baylor’s fall from No. 13 to No. 25 following a second straight loss – there were no newcomers to this week’s poll.

Here’s a look at the rest of the AP Top 25 that was released Sunday afternoon.
