ArDarius Stewart 40-Yard Dash Time At NFL Combine

ArDarius Stewart’s 40-yard dash time at the NFL Combine, as the former Alabama wide receiver looks to increase his draft stock.

Alabama native ArDarius Stewart left the Crimson Tide after his redshirt junior season to pursue a career playing on Sundays.

It was a bit of a curious move when he made the announcement shortly after Alabama fell to Clemson in the College Football Playoff national championship game. There were some draft analysts that believed he was more of a mid-tier prospect in next year’s draft, so it will be interesting to see where Stewart goes in this year’s draft.

In 2016, he led the Tide with 864 receiving yards and eight touchdowns on his 54 catches. He has good hands, and he is a sound blocker as well.

Stewart was suspended for one game late in the year against Chattanooga for a violation of team rules.

On Saturday in Indianapolis, Stewart sought to increase his draft stock at the NFL Combine, posting an unofficial 40-yard dash time of 4.50. The Combine is a marquee event for NFL hopefuls, with the 40 being just one event in which they will try to impress NFL GMs, coaches and scouts.

We’ll see where Stewart goes in the NFL showcase event, as it takes place April 27-29 in Philadelphia. He is likely a Day 3 pick, but he has the talent to be a productive WR in the league.
