4-Star RB Eno Benjamin Commits To Arizona State Sun Devils

Four-star running back Eno Benjamin committed to Arizona State, giving the Sun Devils 13 total pledges in the 2017 recruiting class.

The country’s No. 106 overall player has ended his recruitment, as we now know where he’ll spend his collegiate football career.

On Saturday, at the 2017 U.S. Army All-American Bowl in San Antonio, 4-star recruit Eno Benjamin committed to Arizona State. The Sun Devils now have 13 total commits in the 2017 recruiting class and moved up from No. 46 to No. 39 in the recruiting class rankings.

Benjamin, who’s ranked as the No. 10 running back in the country, chose Arizona State over Baylor, Michigan, Texas and Utah. He also held additional offers from Cal, Houston, Iowa, Miami, Nebraska and others.

The Wylie, TX native was at one time committed to the Hawkeyes. He initially gave his pledge to Iowa on April 18. However, he de-committed on Oct. 23.

In his senior year, Benjamin recorded 2,412 rushing yards and 26 rushing touchdowns. But he also had six receiving scores and racked up 445 receiving yards.

At 5-foot-10, 203 lbs., Benjamin is a highly skilled tailback. He runs with great balance and is a constant threat to bust big runs with his ability to find a cutback lane. He totes the rock instinctively and can change direction on a dime without losing speed. He’s quick-footed and a reliable receiving option out of the backfield.

Benjamin will be a great fit for what the Sun Devils like to do offensively.
