Four-Star RB Eno Benjamin Reveals His ‘Final Six’ Schools

Wylie, Texas running back recruit Eno Benjamin has narrowed his options down to a top six.

On the same day he received an offer from Texas, four-star running back Eno Benjamin unveiled his “Final Six” schools that included the Longhorns.

In addition to Texas, the other five programs making the cut were Arizona State, Michigan, Missouri, Oklahoma State and Utah.

Benjamin shared the following graphic to announce his top schools.

Benjamin decommitted from Iowa in October in order to weigh all of his options.

“I just felt like I need to take some visits to see what I wanted to do,” Benjamin told Campus Insiders. “Things just didn’t work out with me being a Hawkeye. I don’t think I was the right fit for Coach [Kirk] Ferentz, and it was best that we went our separate ways.”

Benjamin also expressed his interest for the opportunity at Texas with new head coach Tom Herman now in charge.

“That Texas program is on the rise, and it just needs a few more people to help it get there. I’m a guy who seeks opportunity. And at Texas, I do see the opportunity to play early and follow some of the leaders who played at Texas, went to the NFL, and had great careers.”

Benjamin, the nation’s No. 10 running back and No. 106 overall player, is scheduled to announce his decision on Jan. 7 at the Alamodome in San Antonio for the U.S. Army All-American Bowl. If he were to commit to Texas, the Longhorns’ 2017 recruiting class would jump from No. 39 to No. 31 in the class rankings.
