Four-Star RB Kennedy Brooks Commits To Oklahoma Sooners


Four-star running back Kennedy Brooks has announced his college decision.


The Oklahoma Sooners picked up their first commitment since the middle of August on Monday morning, and it came in the form of one of the nation’s top players. Four-star running back Kennedy Brooks committed to Oklahoma via Twitter.

Brooks, who is ranked as the nation’s No. 119 overall player and No. 12 running back, is the ninth player Bob Stoops has plucked out of Texas for the 2017 recruiting cycle.

He’s also the second running back commit in Oklahoma’ class, joining four-star and fellow top-200 player Trey Sermon from Marietta, Georgia.

Brooks is listed at 5’11” and 185 pounds, and has been clocked in the 40-yard dash at 4.66 seconds.

Oklahoma’s class now boasts 20 commitments, and sits at No. 3 in the team recruiting rankings. The Sooners lead the nation with 15 four-star players, two better than the next best team with 13, shared by Georgia and Notre Dame.
