Five-Star DT Marvin Wilson Receives Visit From Ohio State

Marvin Wilson received a visit from Ohio State defensive line coach Larry Johnson on Wednesday.

With the recruiting dead period less than a week away (starts Dec. 12), the Ohio State Buckeyes went in-home with five-star defensive tackle Marvin Wilson on Wednesday night. Defensive line coach Larry Johnson visited Wilson, who is one of the most-prized recruits left on the board.

The Buckeyes currently have commitments from six five-star prospects, all at different positions. Adding Wilson would give Ohio State three five-stars on the defensive side of the ball, complimenting current commitments from outside linebacker Baron Browning and defensive end Chase Young.

Wilson would also add to an already impressive defensive tackle haul. The Buckeyes have commitments from No. 4 DT Haskell Garrett and No. 15 DT Jerron Cage.

Wilson used an official visit to check out the Buckeyes for The Game against the Michigan Wolverines.

In addition to Ohio State, Ole Miss and Florida State coaches visited Wilson this week, on Tuesday and Wednesday, respectively.
