Michigan Football Recruiting Update – December 22, 2016

Michigan football recruiting update as of December 22, 2016. Jim Harbaugh’s Wolverines picked up outside linebacker Jordan Anthony.

Life keeps getting better for Wolverines fans, as they continue to ask if there is anyone who has it better than they do.

On Thursday night, in the first ever release of Campus Insiders’ “You Have My Word” series within the Campus Commitment franchise, 4-star outside linebacker Jordan Anthony committed to Michigan over Auburn, Maryland, Penn State and Oklahoma.

But that topped off what was already a great week for the Wolverines. On Monday, Michigan landed 4-star center Cesar Ruiz and 4-star defensive end Deron Irving-Bey.

The Wolverines remain at No. 2 in the 2017 recruiting class rankings but added 208 recruiting points with the addition of Anthony, as they now sit 445 points behind No. 1-ranked Alabama.

Michigan is also on the brink of landing 4-star offensive tackle Chuck Filiaga and 4-star outside linebacker Drew Singleton. The latter of which attends Paramus Catholic High School in New Jersey, which is where Rashan Gary, last year’s No. 1 overall recruit, went to school.
