Nov. 1 Colorado State 38, at San Jose State 31 
And You Care Because … Dee Hart ran for four short scores, but it was still a battle for Colorado State as San Jose State always seemed to have an answer. Tyler Ervin ran for an 89-yard score, and Tyler Winston tied it in the fourth on a 20-yard run, but Hart took over, finishing off two key drives with two seven-yard touchdown runs. The Spartans responded with a 91-yard drive, finishing up with a Joe Gray four-yard run, but it wasn’t enough. Gray threw two touchdown passes with a nine-yarder to Jamari Carr and Tyler Winston for 20-yards away. 
What Else? Colorado State RB Dee Hart ran 24 times for 104 yards and four scores 
– San Jose State QB Joe Gray completed 26-of-51 passes for 308 yards and two scores with two picks 
– Colorado State WR Rashard Higgins caught eight passes for 143 yards and a score
– San Jose State RB Tyler Ervin ran 18 times for 149 yards and a score

Nov. 1 New Mexico 31, at UNLV 28 
And You Care Because … New Mexico scored the first 17 points with Jhurrell Pressley running for two of his three touchdown runs on the day, but UNLV rallied back with 21 straight points. Blake Decker ran for a two-yard score and Shaquille Murray-Lawrence ran for two third quarter touchdowns. The two teams traded touchdown runs in the fourth, with Keith Whitely running for a three-yard score to give UNLV the 28-24 lead, but New Mexico ran 15 plays for 66 yards in almost seven minutes, finishing up with a three-yard Teriyon Gipson run with 1:22 to play.

– New Mexico RB Jhurell Pressley ran 20 times for 138 yards and three scores 
– UNLV RB Shaquille Murray-Lawrence ran 20 times for 125 yards and two touchdowns

Nov. 1 Utah State 35, at Hawaii 14 
And You Care Because … Utah State was down to its fourth-string quarterback, Kent Myers, and he was nearly perfect throwing three touchdown passes with two to Hunter Sharp in the first quarter from six and 70 yards away. Hawaii tied it at 14 late in the first on a one-yard Justin Vele touchdown catch, but it was all Utah State the rest of the way with 21 unanswered points. Devin Centers returned a fumble ten yards for a score, and Ronald Butler caught a 39-yard touchdown pass and threw a 44-yard scoring pass to LaJuan Hunt.
What Else? Penalties: Hawaii 13 for 100 yards – Utah State 12 for 96 yards 
– Utah State QB Kent Myers completed 14-of-15 passes for 186 yards and three scores 
– Hawaii WR Quinton Pedroza caught eight passes for 123 yards 
– Utah State RB LaJuan Hunt ran 33 times for 150 yards

Nov. 1 at Nevada 30, San Diego State 14 
And You Care Because … Down 14-13 after SDSU scored on a one-yard Chase Price run and a 21-yard Jemond Hazely catch, Nevada took control in the second half with 20 unanswered points on two of Brent Zuzo’s three field goals, and with a 43-yard James Butler touchdown run. Don Jackson put a capper on it with a one-yard touchdown run late. The Aztecs turned the ball over three times and struggled to keep the chains moving. 
What Else? Nevada RB Don Jackson ran 20 times for 124 yards and a touchdown, and James Butler ran 15 times for 103 yards and a score 
– San Diego State RB Donnel Pumphrey ran 13 times for 85 yards
– Nevada QB Cody Fajardo completed 10-of-24 passes for 109 yards and a score with a pick 
– Total yards: Nevada 338 – San Diego State 324

Nov. 1 Air Force 23, at Army 6 
And You Care Because … The Air Force defense bottled up the Army running game, allowing just two Daniel Grochowski field goals from 42 and 46 yards out, while the offense got three Will Conant field goals and two touchdown passes from Kale Pearson to Garrett Griffin from 54 and two yards away. Army struggled to move the ball, finishing with just 169 yards. 
What Else? Air Force QB Kale Pearson completed 8-of-12 passes for 141 yards and two touchdown with an interception 
– Army passing: 3-of-13 for 47 yards 
– Air Force RB Jacobi Owens ran 27 times for 118 yards 
– Third down conversions; Air Force 8-of-18 – Army 1-of-12

Nov. 1 Wyoming 45, at Fresno State 17 
And You Care Because … The Wyoming offense that sputtered all year long exploded and was unstoppable, rolling up Fresno State in every way with Brian Hill running for scores from 32 and 66 yards out, and pulling away in the fourth with Joshua Tapscott running for scores from two and 48 yards out, and Jacob Hollister catching a 66-yard touchdown pass. Fresno State scored first on an eight-yard Marteze Waller run, and got into the end zone in the final moments on a seven-yard Aaron Peck run. 
What Else? Wyoming RB Brian Hill ran 23 times for 281 yards and two scores, and caught three passes for 106 yards 
– Fresno State QBs combined to completed 14-of-29 passes for 149 yards and a score with two interceptions 
– Wyoming ran for 374 yards, and threw for 320 yards 
– Time of possession: Wyoming 36:49 – Fresno State 23:11
