Najee Harris’ Brother Weighs In On Upcoming Commitment

Najee Harris’ brother, Malachi, weighs in on the upcoming commitment of the nation’s most-prized recruit.

The Najee Harris Watch has been cranked up to level 11. The nation’s No. 1 recruit was set to announce his decision after the U.S. Army All-American Bowl, but changed course on Tuesday and will forgo a public announcement in favor of just showing up to campus, further building the anticipation in his decision.

Alabama and Michigan are the two primary teams jockeying for his commitment. Harris is technically committed to the Crimson Tide, but it’s long been believed that the Wolverines have a legitimate shot at flipping him.

And if his brother, Malachi, has anything to say, the maize and blue will get its way.

“I want my brother to go to Michigan simple as that,” Malachi tweeted. “He can be a legend there!”

Harris took his most recent official visit (OV) to Ann Arbor on Dec. 10, just prior to the start of the recruiting dead period. He used an OV for Cal on Dec. 8 and Alabama on Nov. 26, for the Crimson Tide’s annual rivalry matchup against Auburn.

As for when the nation will know, Harris plans to arrive at his campus of choice next week as an early enrollee following the U.S. Army All-American Bowl.
