North Carolina vs. Syracuse live stream and TV information for Saturday’s Final Four matchup.
The North Carolina Tar Heels will take on conference foe Syracuse in the second Final Four game in Houston, Texas on Saturday.
The Tar Heels (32-6) took care of business on Sunday with an 88-74 win over Notre Dame to punch their ticket to a record 19th Final Four. The Irish hung around until the Heels pulled away in the second half. Both teams shot well from the field, but North Carolina was more efficient, connecting on 61.5 percent of its field goals. The Heels took 10 more free throws than the Irish and converted 83.3 percent of them (20-24). North Carolina dominated the glass, grabbing 32 boards while limiting Notre Dame to just 15. In a game where all five starters were in double-fugres, Brice Johnson outshined them all with 25 points and 12 rebounds to lead the Tar Heels.
The Orange (23-13) is the most unlikely team still standing, but nonetheless reached its second Final Four in four seasons. Syracuse took down Virginia, 68-62, last Sunday after the Cavaliers blew a 16-point lead in the second half. The Orange used a full-court press to turn the Cavaliers over 13 times, which led to 15 Syracuse points. Syracuse won the rebounding battle, 38-36, and it went 20-of-25 from the charity stripe. Malachi Richardson played hero for the Orange when it mattered most, scoring 21 of his 23 points in the second half.
Saturday’s Final Four contest will be the 12th matchup all-time between North Carolina and Syracuse. The two programs met twice already the season with the Tar Heels taking both of those meetings (84-73 on Jan. 9 and 75-70 on Feb. 29).

It’s tough to beat a team three times in a season, but North Carolina comes into this one after obliterating its opponents so far. The Heels have to keep the Orange out of the paint and force tough looks from the outside. UNC has too much quickness to be bothered by a full-court press or a pesky 2-3 zone. It’s on the backcourt to take care of the ball and find Brice Johnson. If it does that, the Heels will be one game away from another national title.
