Projected AP Top 25 College Football Rankings – Week 10

Projected AP Top 25 college football rankings heading into Week 10 of the season. The new AP Poll should look a lot like this when it is released on Sunday.

The AP Top 25 rankings will look a lot different this week.

No. 7 Nebraska was unable to remain unbeaten, as the Cornhuskers fell to Wisconsin in overtime. Meanwhile, No. 8 Baylor and No. 10 West Virginia both dropped Big 12 road tests, crippling the league’s College Football Playoff chances. The Bears fell to Texas, while the Mountaineers could not get past Oklahoma State.

In an ACC Atlantic division clash, No. 12 Florida State was unable to resurrect its slim College Football Playoff hopes, as Clemson won in another wild game. The Tigers have been playing with fire as of late, but it’s been working for Dabo Swinney’s squad.

No. 13 Boise State is no longer on track for the Group of Five’s New Year’s Six spot, as the Broncos could not overcome Wyoming in Laramie. It was a signature win for Craig Bohl with the Cowboys.

Utah will drop from No. 17 after its close home loss to Washington, but the Utes had the Huskies on the ropes and could see them again in the Pac-12 title game.

No. 18 Tennessee lost to South Carolina, keeping Will Muschamp unbeaten against the Vols.

And No. 22 Navy dropped a 52-45 decision to USF on Friday night.

Let’s take a look at how the new AP Top 25 rankings may look heading into Week 10.
