Projected AP Top 25 College Football Rankings – Week 9

Projected AP Top 25 college football rankings heading into Week 9 of the season. Expect the AP Poll to resemble this when it is released on Sunday.

It was another wild week of college football across the country, as Alabama remained on path for a spot in the College Football Playoff, while Ohio State must now run the table and hope there is room for a one-loss Big Ten squad.

The Crimson Tide defeated Texas A&M in the toughest test to date for Nick Saban’s squad, while the Buckeyes were upset in Happy Valley. Meanwhile, Houston is out of the Group of Five race to earn a New Year’s Six bid, as SMU easily handled the Cougars at home.

With Wisconsin bouncing back from back-to-back close losses and Louisville easily defeating NC State, keep an eye on the Badgers and Cardinals. Meanwhile, Nebraska remains unbeaten after getting an early scare against Purdue.

Let’s see how the new AP Top 25 could look when it is released on Sunday.
