SEC Bowl Projections – Week 8

SEC bowl projections heading into Week 8. Keep an eye on Arkansas, which could be headed toward a date in the Cotton Bowl.

Alabama proved once again that it is the most complete team in the country, as the Crimson Tide turned away Tennessee in Knoxville, 49-10. Nick Saban’s squad will now turn its attention toward its SEC West showdown with Texas A&M next week.

Arkansas, meanwhile, received a strong effort from Austin Allen (228 passing yards and three touchdowns) and Rawleigh Williams (a career-best 180 rushing yards) in a 34-30 win over Ole Miss. The Razorbacks are now projected to get the Cotton Bowl spot that had been occupied by the Rebels.
