Texas A&M vs. South Carolina Prediction Roundtable – What’s Going To Happen

Texas A&M vs. South Carolina prediction roundtable with the Campus Insiders staff. Breaking down what will happen in Saturday’s SEC game between the Aggies and Gamecocks.

Jeff Bartl

I honestly think Texas A&M would win this game if it played eight-on-11 on both sides of the ball. I’m not kidding. The Aggies might beat the Gamecocks by 50.

Jonathan Bass

Texas A&M is the second best team in the SEC, can score at will, and possesses a defense that keeps opposing quarterbacks up at night. Last week’s game against Arkansas was the purest example of systematic deconstruction that you’ll ever find in football. South Carolina averages 14.3 points per game … A&M has scored more than that in five single quarters this season. There’s simply no way the Gamecocks can keep pace.

Robert Judin

This has to be a joke. Texas A&M is the second-best team in the SEC. Even without Myles Garrett and Ricky Seals-Jones, the Aggies will dismantle the Gamecocks. South Carolina is rolling with a freshman quarterback, and its offense can’t even begin to fathom moving the ball on Texas A&M. Trevor Knight will drop dimes over the Gamecocks’ secondary. Kevin Sumlin’s team improves to 5-0 without getting its jerseys dirty.

Dave Miller

It’s hard to imagine the Gamecocks having a chance in this one seeing as how they were only able to manage 10 points in a loss to Kentucky last week. Perhaps Will Muschamp has some exotic defensive looks for Trevor Knight and the A&M offense, but there’s too much Aggie firepower to be held in check for four quarters. Moreover, John Chavis’ defense will be overwhelming as well in an easy A&M victory.

Brian Stultz

This one will be over by the time the Fighting Texas Aggie Band takes the field at halftime. The Aggies are rolling on offense, while the Gamecocks act as if it is the first time they have seen a football. Aggies roll.
