4-Star CB Thomas Graham Commits To Oregon Ducks

Four-star cornerback Thomas Graham committed to Oregon, giving the Ducks 14 total commits in the 2017 recruiting class.

There is something special happening in Eugene right now, and Willie Taggart is at the heart of it.

On Friday, Taggart’s Ducks got some great news when 4-star prospect Thomas Graham committed to Oregon.

Graham, a former USC commit, is ranked as the No. 7 cornerback and No. 77 overall player in the country. The addition of his pledge now gives the Ducks 14 total commits in the cycle, and they move up from No. 36 to No. 32 in the 2017 recruiting class rankings.

On the weekend of Nov. 11, Graham spent one of his official visits in Eugene for Oregon’s 52-27 loss to Stanford. He spent his other four official visits at Arizona, Arizona State, Nebraska and Notre Dame.

Graham is the highest-rated commit in the Ducks’ class, but he isn’t the first commitment Taggart has picked up since he took the head coaching job at Oregon. Last weekend, the Ducks added 3-star wide receiver Darrian McNeal, from Seffner, Florida.

And with Graham now in the class, there is a solid chance Oregon can get 4-star recruit Deommodore Lenoir to re-commit. Lenoir, the No. 8 cornerback and No. 87 overall player in the nation, backed off his pledge to the Ducks following Oregon’s firing of former head coach Mark Helfrich.

However, Graham and Lenoir are friends and could team up together in Eugene, helping the Ducks create a no-fly zone — ironic as it may sound.
