The No. 9 Tar Heels are back home on Sunday after taking down Melo Trimble and the Maryland Terrapins in Chapel Hill. The 89-81 win against the Terps was mostly due to the return of senior guard Marcus Paige, who broke his right hand before the season started.

The Wildcats are coming off a 109-74 beatdown of Charlotte on the 49ers’ home court, which pushed Davidson to 5-0 on the season.

    Prediction

North Carolina will get some trouble from Davidson in this one. Gibbs and Brian Sullivan will provide some scoring for the Wildcats, but Paige and company will shut that down. Meeks and Johnson will wreck on the boards, and Justin Jackson will pour in some additional scoring. North Carolina takes this one on its home court.
