1. Down 7-0, North Carolina came back with 20 straight points helped by two second quarter field goals from Nick Weiler and an 18-yard Marquise Williams touchdown dash.

2. With the offense sputtering, Williams was replaced by Mitch Trubisky, who was terrific with four touchdown passes including two in the third quarter to Mack Hollins from 33 and 64 yards out. He also hooked up with Ryan Switzer for a 63-yard touchdown in the fourth.

3. Thomas Jefferson scored twice for Delaware, running for a 72-yard score in the first and a one-yarder in the third.

North Carolina

– Mitch Trubisky completed 17-of-20 passes for 312 yards and four scores, and ran six times for 39 yards. Marquise Williams completed 6-of-12 passes for 65 yards and ran six times for 31 yards and a score.

– Mack Hollins caught three passes for 100 yards and two scores. Elijah Hood ran 14 times for 61 yards.
