Postseason college basketball has finally made its way to the forefront of the sports scene with the arrival of March. That means the madness is soon to follow as conference tournaments are starting to take place.

In the Northeast Conference the Wagner Seahawks have notched the league’s No. 1 seed after going 13-5 in conference play and 20-9 overall. Junior guard Michael Carey is just one rebound away from averaging a double-double for the Seahawks and has played a pivotal role in Wagner’s success.

Don’t count out Fairleigh Dickinson, though, who sit below Wagner with the second seed in the tournament. The Knights have a stud of their own in sophomore guard Darian Anderson. Anderson dropped a career-high 32 points in his team’s win over LIU Brooklyn.

Other conference standouts include Sacred Heart’s Cane Broome (22.7 PPG), Robert Morris’ Rodney Pryor (18.3 PPG), and LIU Brooklyn’s Jerome Frink (16.9 PPG, 9.1 RPG).
