Ohio State Fans Spell ‘Script Ohio’ On Google Maps

A group of Ohio State fans spelled "Script Ohio" on Google maps during an impressive, 19-mile walk that took 6.5 hours.

There’s dedication, and then there’s a group of Ohio State fans who spent 6.5 hours walking the city of Columbus to spell out “Script Ohio” on Google Maps. Quite the way to kick off the upcoming season.

In total, the adventure traversed 19 miles from 6:30 a.m. to 2:45 p.m. The reason for the additional time outside of walking? A few bar stops.

“It took us 6 and a half hours of walking but we made a few bar stops so from 6:30am through 2:45pm,” Reddit user orweezy posted. “We were doing a work competition about fitness and the metrics used was time, so we walked everywhere and I think we just carried it over.”

Capping off the impressive idea was using Ohio Stadium to dot the “i.” The result, which you can see above, was first posted to Reddit and has since gone viral.

The group is considering recreating the trek next season, potentially for charity. The one thing that could kick the adventure up a notch? “The Best Damn Band in the Land” joining forces with the fans for the event.
