Oklahoma vs. Texas A&M live stream and TV information for Thursday’s Sweet 16 matchup.

The No. 2 seeded Oklahoma Sooners will take on the No. 3 seeded Texas A&M Aggies Thursday in one of two regional semifinals in Anaheim.

The Sooners (27-7) held on to defeat the VCU Rams 85-81 on Sunday to advance to the Sweet 16 for the second consecutive year. Buddy Hield poured in 29 of his 36 points in the second half to stave off a Rams team that hung around late. It was Hield’s 13th 30-plus-point game of the season, which tied Michael Beasley for most in Big 12 history.

The Aggies (28-8) pulled off one of the most stunning comebacks in tournament history as they overcame a 12-point deficit with 44 seconds left in regulation to tie Northern Iowa Panthers and force overtime. Texas A&M would need two extra sessions, but were able to knock off Northern Iowa 92-88 when the final buzzer sounded.

Oklahoma and Texas A&M will meet up for the 42nd time on Thursday, with the Sooners leading the all-time series 31-10. It’s the first meeting between the two programs since 2013 as Oklahoma took down Texas A&M 64-52 in Oklahoma City in the All-College Classic.

Below is everything you need to know about the matchup, including the Oklahoma vs. Texas A&M live stream, prediction and game notes.

    Prediction

Oklahoma has appeared to figure out its defensive woes in the tournament just in time for this one. The Sooners bring size at every position that will frustrate the Aggies at both ends of the floor. A&M won’t pull out another impossible win here, because Buddy Hield won’t allow it.

    • The Aggies are looking to even their record in NCAA Tournament games. Texas A&M comes into this one with a 12-13 mark.
    • This is Oklahoma’s 11th total trip to the NCAA Sweet 16. It’s also the first back-to-back such trip for the program since 2002 (Final Four) and 2003 (Elite Eight).
