1. Ole Miss apparently tried to establish a tone from the start with a 28-point first quarter thanks to three Chad Kelly touchdown passes and a four-yard Kelly run.
2. Fresno State tried to stay around with two second quarter touchdowns, with Shannon Edwards returning an interception 56 yards for a score, but Ole Miss responded with a 75-yard drive and another Kelly TD pass, finding Quincy Adeboyejo for a 44-yard score.
3. The Rebels poured it on in the second half. Robert Nkemdiche scored on a one yard play, the D came up with its second pick six, and they kept on rolling to 38 points.
