1. It wasn’t pretty with too many penalties and mistakes, but Ole Miss got by helped by a 20-yard Damore’ea Stringfellow touchdown catch in the first and two Gary Wunderlich field goals in the second for a 13-3 lead. But Vandy didn’t go away.
2. The Commodores tied it at 13 in the third on a seven-yard Ralph Webb catch, but Ole Miss pulled away for good on a one-yard Robert Nkemdiche run. Jaylen Walton’s three-yard touchdown run in the fourth finally provided some breathing room.
