Pac-12 Football Schedule Rankings Based On Opponent Win Percentage

Taking a look at the Pac-12’s easiest and hardest schedules in 2017 based on opponents’ winning percentage from 2016.

The Pac-12 had a successful showing in the 2016 season. It had some young stars emerge, picked up a highly intense Rose Bowl victory, and it even had a representative in the College Football Playoff for the second time in three years.

However, it’s officially time to peer ahead to the 2017 season. Chris Petersen’s Huskies are looking to repeat as Pac-12 champions, and it’s definitely possible. Jake Browning is heading into his junior season, and Washington has the easiest schedule among Pac-12 teams.

However, it won’t be handed to the Huskies, though. Sam Darnold was one of those young stars who found his way into the limelight, and he’s looking to lead USC to the College Football Playoff next season. The Trojans will be entering the year with the eighth-most difficult schedule in the conference.

Darnold will have his first (and possibly only) shot at going toe-to-toe with Josh Rosen, too. The rising junior quarterback is coming off of a shoulder injury that derailed his 2016 campaign, and he’ll look to lead the Bruins through the league’s toughest gauntlet.

Here is a complete look at the Pac-12 schedules ranked from easiest to hardest based on opponent winning percentages from the 2016 season.
