The Washington Huskies rolled in to Pullman on Friday needing a win in the Apple Cup to secure the Pac-12 North and keep hopes of a College Playoff Berth alive. After one quarter it was plainly obvious that the Huskies were, by far, the best team in Washington. Chris Petersen’s team rolled up 510 yards of offense and punished its in-state rival, 45-17.

On Saturday, Colorado battled against Utah to ice the Pac-12 South. One of the nation’s best stories, the Buffaloes persevered through quarterback injuries and claimed the division only one year after winning just one Pac-12 game (and going 4-9 overall). Friday night’s Pac-12 title game between Washington and Colorado figures to be a great showcase event for the conference.

Elsewhere, Adoree Jackson (again) reminded the world just how good he is. With all the talk of Jabrill Peppers being a dual-threat Heisman candidate, it just might be Jackson who is the nation’s best two-way player. In USC’s 45-27 pummeling of Notre Dame, Jackson returned both a punt and a kickoff for touchdowns, and also caught a 52-yard pass for a third score. Should he return next season, look for Jackson atop preseason Heisman watchlists.

Here’s a look at Pac-12 football standings for Week 14.
