The 2016 Patriot League Men’s Basketball Tournament is set to tip off on the evening of Tuesday March 1.

Game 1 of the first round will get underway at 7:00 p.m. ET as 7-seed Navy and 10-seed Lafayette square off. The winner will advance to face 2-seed Lehigh in the quarterfinals.

Game 2 of the first round will pit 8-seed Loyola against 9-seed Holy Cross at 7:30 p.m. ET. The winner receives a date with 1-seed Bucknell in the quarterfinals.

The other two quarterfinal matchups include 4-seed Army West Point taking on 5-seed Colgate at 7:00 p.m. ET and 3-seed Boston University battling 6-seed American, also at 7:00 p.m. ET.

The Bucknell Bison snagged the top seed in the tournament after going 14-4 in conference play and 17-12 overall. Led by senior guard Chris Haas (17.3 points per game), the Bison are the favorite to win the tournament and automatic NCAA Tournament bid. Haas scored in double figures in 25 games for the Bison this season and notched a 40-point output Army.

Don’t discount Lehigh, though, as the Mountain Hawks have four players averaging double figures in scoring, including Tim Kempton, who is close to a double-double per outing.

Other standout players to watch in the Patriot League tournament include Boston’s Eric Fanning (15.2 PPG), Army’s Tanner Plomb (20.0 PPG) and Colgate’s Austin Tillotson (15.2 PPG).

The quarterfinals will be played on Thursday, the semifinals will take place on Sunday and the championship game will be played on Wednesday, March 9.
