1. It was a tough start for Penn State, but the offense finally broke through on a 22-yard Brandon Polk run. The Nittany Lions couldn’t start to breathe until early in the fourth on a five-yard DaeSean Hamilton touchdown catch. Saquon Barkley put the game away on a nine-yard scoring grab.
2. Buffalo got two Joe Licata touchdown passes, finding Ron Willoughby for a 14-yarder in the third and a ten-yard play to Marcus McGill in the fourth.
