When Joseph Young is in rhythm, he can’t really be stopped.

Oregon’s electric guard dropped 25 points on Oklahoma State, overwhelming the Cowboys inside and out while leading the Ducks to a solid win. The NCAA Tournament is a guard’s showcase, and Young is the kind of guy who can lift a team. Elgin Cook and Dillon Brooks were efficient, but Young’s dominance vs. OSU has to boost Oregon’s confidence. It isn’t that the Ducks stifled Oklahoma State completely. It’s just that OSU had no answer for Young.

Oregon will have to cut down on some turnovers and find its stroke from the perimeter to reach next weekend, but this win will certainly put the Ducks in the right frame of mind.
