The Bucknell Bison will host the Lehigh Mountain Hawks in Lewisburg on Saturday to open Patriot League play for the 2015 season.

The Bison are riding a two-game winning streak and hope to extend it in their Patriot League conference opener. Last time out against VMI, Bucknell needed overtime to secure the win. Running back Matt DelMauro sealed the victory with a 23-yard rushing touchdown, his second overtime touchdown of his career. It was an unlikely win for the Bison, who were playing from behind most of the game and were outgained 395-290 in total yards from scrimmage.

Conversely, the Mountain Hawks are hoping to end their current two-game slide after losing to Princeton and Yale in consecutive weeks. Quarterback Nick Shafnisky led Lehigh with 211 yards passing and 79 on the ground, while the defense forced three turnovers. But the early 13-0 hole Yale put them in was too deep to climb out of and the Mountain Hawks fell 27-12.

Bucknell and Lehigh will meet for the 79th time on Saturday, with the Mountain Hawks holding a 44-31-3 lead in the all-time series. However, the Bison have won the last two by a commanding 93-34 margin.
