Two Georgia Bulldogs football players were arrested early Wednesday morning.

Freshman linebacker Natrez Patrick and freshman defensive lineman Chauncey Rivers have both been suspended for Saturday’s game against the Kentucky Wildcats after both received one charge of marijuana possession of one ounce or less.

Head coach Mark Richt said he was “extremely disappointed” by their “very poor decision.”

“They will be disciplined in an appropriate manner and hopefully have learned a valuable life lesson that will benefit them moving forward,” Richt said.

In six games, Patrick has 13 total tackles. Rivers has one tackle in one game.

Kickoff for Georgia and Kentucky is set for noon in Athens, GA. on Saturday.
