The Holy Cross Crusaders will welcome the Brown Bears to Worcester, MA on Saturday in the final non-conference matchup for both teams.

Holy Cross is back at .500 (2-2) after pitching a shutout against Albany last week. Quarterback Peter Pujals carried the offense, throwing for 177 yards on 17-of-27 passing and three scores. Wide receiver Brendan Flaherty benefited from Pujals performance, reeling in six receptions for 47 yards and two touchdowns. The Crusaders defense also impressed, holding Albany to just 10 first downs and 203 yards of total offense.

The Bears are coming off their first win of the 2015 season, a 41-31 contest over Rhode Island last week. Senior quarterback Marcus Fuller who threw for 438 yards and four touchdowns led Brown in the victory. The Bears tout the second-best passing attack in the nation, averaging 384.7 yards through the air per game.

Saturday’s game marks the 60th matchup between these two programs with the Crusaders holding the all-time lead in the series, 32-24-3, but the Bears are winners of three straight.
