Horizon League Conference Basketball Tournament: Bracket, Schedule, And More

The Horizon League conference's basketball tournament is here again. Is Valparaiso set to take home yet another championship trophy?

Check out all the information and bracket updates for the Horizon League Conference Tournament.

The Valparaiso Crusaders notched the No. 1 seed in the Horizon League tournament for the fourth time in five seasons. They used that seeding to their advantage in 2013 and 2015 by winning the conference tournament and advancing to the Big Dance.

It’s been a dominant season for Valpo, whose balanced offensive attack is led by junior forward Alec Peters, who averages 17.5 points per game and 8.3 rebounds per game.

But the one major obstacle standing in the way of the Crusaders’ NCAA tournament chances are the Oakland Golden Grizzlies, who have one of the nation’s most dynamic players in junior gurad Kay Felder.

Felder averages 24.4 points per game and made his way into the national conversation after dropping 37 points on then-No. 1 Michigan State on a nationally televised broadcast, taking the Spartans to overtime before eventually falling in nail-biting fashion. Kay Felder became a household name in the 2015-16 season, and if the Golden Grizzlies want that pretty little invitation to the ball, they’ll need him to lead the charge.

Here’s how the Horizon League tournament stands.
