Pac-12 bowl projections after college football’s opening weekend. Christian McCaffrey helped Stanford remain the conference favorite, while USC suffered a horrible defeat.
USC wasn’t exactly expected to come home from Texas with a win over Alabama, but few figured it would be completely dominated to the tune of 52-6. UCLA look as bad as its cross-town rival, but still went down in defeat at the hands of the SEC.
Meanwhile, it was the Christian McCaffrey show as Stanford knocked off Kansas State and kept its standing as the Pac-12 favorite. Washington also came out of the gate firing, downing Rutgers with ease.
