In what is now being (unofficially) referred to as the “Punt Six,” the Michigan Wolverines lost to their archrival, Michigan State, after Michigan punter Blake O’Neill dropped the ball and helplessly watched as the Spartans returned it for the game-winning touchdown as time expired.

The heartbreaking loss for Michigan was summed up in one fan’s shock that was caught on camera. The photo has become arguably the most iconic image of the 2015 college football season.

Social media has run amok with the image, and now the sad Michigan fan has come to life for Halloween as its very own pumpkin.

This probably won’t be the last improvisation to come from that tear-jerking photo of national championship dreams being blocked — literally.
