San Diego State tailback Juwan Washington could miss up to six weeks with a shoulder injury, sources told Stadium on Tuesday afternoon.
Washington is the nation’s fifth-leading rusher, averaging 128 yards per game, and was injured in Saturday’s win against Eastern Michigan. He was averaging 150 yards in the Aztecs’ first three games before missing the second half of the Eastern Michigan game with the shoulder injury, running for only 61 yards against the Eagles.
The Aztecs are off this week and visit Boise State on Oct. 6
